I always have dreams where I'm looking for lost things. In the dreams, I'm angry and frustrated, and quite often my formerly abusive parents are there saying cruel things to me. I lash out at them, full of rage while I keep searching. Any ideas what these dreams mean? I have them a couple times a night.

Interesting, I think I have had dreams along those lines before but maybe not as intense as you have.

I believe it is a part of you is missing. You are frustrated because you don't know how to find it/recognise it and are scared that you may never ? Represented by the folks. Your scared on some level, they may be right.
