I always lock my door to keep anything from my bad dreams coming to life.

There are these dark figures I know of that are in the dark.

I don't want to be grabbed or be bitten into. It's happened before in my dreams.

I always lock my door, even in the day time. I just don't want entities hurting me.

I think I might know how you feel. My worst nightmares are the ones where someone grabs me from behind and I can't get away.
But my horrible nightmares are dark dreams that never go away, even when I lock the door.
Nightmares are just awful.
I know that it's our brain trying to process things...but still.
