I had the worst nightmare I've ever had the other night. It was the first time I had this nightmare but it was very real but unreal at the same time.
Okay,,
In my dream I was sleeping in my bed, same bed same surroundings but black and white. I went to get up but this swirl of black beings... don't know if they were demons or bad spirits or what and they kept dragging me back onto the bed, like trying to push me through walls . every time I tried to get up they appeared and dragged me back down. I tried to scream for my parents who have a room next to mine. I couldn't get it out. I ended up transporting into their master bedroom's Bathroom, I was seizing.. and screaming... then before my dad could wake was transported back to my bed with the dark shadows... they kept dragging me back I stuck my finger in my nose in my dream and woke up for real gasping.
It was scary real. I told my dad about it when I woke up and could talk and he told me to pray for them to go away so I did and I went back to sleep and had different dreams...
Does anyone know what this nightmare could mean? It just made me feel eerie.

I don't know what it could mean, but I had a bad nightmare once where I woke up gasping for air, because I had quit breathing in my sleep as well. mine was caused by being overmedicated on P-doc meds, and then quitting cold turkey. now I have sleep apnea as a result of the experience.

sometimes a deeply rooted fear, concern, worry, or other thought can manifest like your dream, find someone to discuss it with and see if you can figure out what caused it.

he dropped the fake smile as a tear rolled down his cheek and he whispered "i cant do this anymore"
then collapsed and gave up the ghost.

You may be feeling separated from your Parents. This may mean you feel you do not need to be parented by them anymore. Thus the fear and shadows keeping you away from them. You are holding yourself back from them. The finger in your nose means feeling like a child.

thanks for your insight. I remember telling myself to stick my fingers in my nose so I can wake up in reality though. but the rest might be true.

I've been prone to night terrors since I was a kid. I would dream like you describe...like seeing myself in my own bed and my dreams acting out terrors like this. I've actually physically ran down hallways and such while still in a sleep state only to find myself in another part of the house when I would wake up. Very bizzare. I don't know what it means, tho.

Yeah I don't think I run in my sleep but I've waken up on floor many years ago and my dad has come into my room freaking out cause I would scream my lungs out in my sleep. I am sorry you have them that bad.
