I had a dream that I was on the 20th floor of a 20 story tall building about to board an elevator. Me and several other people got on the elevator and when the elevator started down, I noticed it got really shaky and unstable as it went down. It stopped on the 15th floor to let more people on, but me and a few other people took the opportunity to get off the elevator since we had a real bad gut feeling that something bad was going to happen. So me and three other people got off but new people boarded so it was packed with people. The elevator started down and then I heard a loud metallic bang from inside the shaft and the elevator began a free fall while everyone on board started screaming. It hit the ground with such force that it caused an explosion, sending smoke and fire up the shaft and killed all on board. The fire alarms went off and people made a mad dash for the exits since fire and smoke was rapidly spreading throughout the building. I could also hear fire and rescue trucks and other emergency personal rushing to the scene. Then I had a flash back and had a birds eye view of what happened in the elevator. A cable line snapped causing the elevator to fall 15 stories and it showed the passengers screaming in panic on board and then got incinerated in the flames following the explosion upon impact. The dream ended with someone telling me 15 people had perished inside the elevator, along with another 5 people on the first floor close to the impact scene. Another 50 people or so were injured due to the explosion and resulting flames. How could this dream be interpreted?

The elevator seemed to be packed with explosives like a bomb!, The number 5 is the common denominator. Fire is transformation. What does the number 5 mean to you?

I've had the elevator dream a few times before, especially after 9/11

If this were my dream, I'd think of the top floor as my thinking and the bottom as my feelings and emotions. That I got off "early" and there was an explosion, etc. would get me thinking whether I was afraid of my emotions and thought they might damage others or be too much for my therapist, etc. That the elevator exploded, I would think of anger and see if I had an anger issue? Maybe I'm working on my anger but can't quite "defuse" it as I would like to, I still feel it causes mayhem and kills those around me.
