I had a dream recently that me and a friend were on a nice size ship just hanging out. We were looking around when all the sudden the hull of the ship below the waterline caved in, causing water to blow into the ship at a extremely fast rate. At first we thought about possibly rushing down to stop the water from filling up the ship four decks below us but the ship flooded so quickly that it developed a sever list which caused water to pour through windows and other openings, further increasing flooding. We decided to make a run for it as the ship continued to roll over. We made it outside just as the bow of the ship was beginning to go under. We went up three flights of stairs to the boat deck but then just as we were about to board a lifeboat, the ship lurched violently to it's side, throwing me, my friend, and hundreds other passengers into the sea. The suction pulled many back into the ship and I almost got pulled back in but managed to stay out and eventually resurfaced. By this time, the ship had completely rolled over, the ship almost completely submerged and going down, this time, by the stern since the bow had risen back out of the water a bit and then sank beneath the surface. Overall, it took just two minutes for the ship to go under, killing almost everyone on board. Only one lifeboat was successfully launched with about fifty survivors on it, out of the 2,000 that were on board. Not sure what this could have symbolized but it was a realistic dream.
