So a year ago I believe I had at least three dreams in one night, more so nightmares of sorts. It's a bit hard to explain due to remembering little parts of it but I'll tell them in order.
The first dream I had was that I had woken up in my room (dream wise), and as if something willed or pulled me I looked outside my window to find a rather tall figure, though I couldn't see what he looked like due to his features being blurred. All of a sudden though him and I had appeared at a house. And as if I was a puppet to his games I had murdered the family there, and thats where it had ended. The second dream starts out the same with me seeing the same man outside my window, only this time we appear in a forest and wander around, though I am not scared of him. On our way through the forest though I see a glimpse of three strangers standing at the top of a hill, and they seemed to be wearing weird masks, and they just stared silently. That's sort of where it ended then. Again it starts the same with the third one but only this time besides the tall man being at my window there are two other people, and they also have masks on like the ones in the last dream had. All I remember is them walking toward me before I had woken up to reality. While I am not sure what they mean, it did scare me enough to go to my parents bedroom and sleep there until the morning came. |

My doctor pointed out to me that if you have a nightmare it's usually best to get up and walk around and make sure you are entirely awake.
Because if you go right back to sleep you risk slipping right back into that nightmare you were just having. Something about your brain not really disconnecting from whatever was happening. |

That's actually a good idea BeteNoire. Maybe if it happens again I should try and walk around so I get my mind off having another nightmare. Thanks for the advice!
