I had this very scary dream early in the wee hours of the morning (when I dream the most) and was driving my car to another state to live in with all my belongings and my cats and the check engine light came on and the engine temperature gage went to hot and I didn't want to be alone, stranded, no extra engine coolant on me and was so upset by this I shouted in my head as loud as I could "NO I DON'T WANT THIS" and was able to wake up immediately... it took coffee and a cigarette to get it out of my head.
I mean I have no car, no license, only a bike for transportation and a good friend with several cars to take me places, but I guess working on his car last night put in my head that problems can happen suddenly with old cars and being prepared with extra fluids and tools can save you from being stranded having to call a tow truck to a garage to fix it. I drove several times from Winchester, Virginia to Phoenix, Arizona several times in my 30's moving back and forth from Phoenix twice in a decade and hope to get out there again some day but I think I will fly... I'm 45 and don't have the energy like I used to, to be able to drive 10-12 hours a day concentrating that long. Long story about the no car or license deal but I get my Virginia license back next June 2015. I don't know if it's the fear of being stranded and alone or what brought that on but it can't happen in my world of reality right now so I don't know really what to make of this dream... anybody got any ideas about the symbolism and emotions as to why I dreamed this? Thanks! ~ dmhobbit ~ |

Your fear of being alone dream. Moving on, means being alone stranded. No support or friends near. I wonder what would have happened if you did not notice the dash board warnings. Maybe you can make it on your own?
