I was prescribed hydroxyzine(Atarax) for a chronic itching problem. Along with the intense drowsiness it caused, it also caused me to have vivid, memorable dreams, or at least more memorable than my typical dreams which I rarely remember.

I had a dream a year ago that the people around me were being murdered by homicidal police officers. Like most of my dreams, few people are easily identified with real people, and I am not really myself. I remember the basic theme of the dream, and I remember one scene in the dream in which one of the surviving friends suggested we go call the police, to which my character said something about the police being the ones doing the killing.

More recently, I had a dream which was in a lot of ways like a cross between Half Life and Silent Hill(dark interiors, not foggy exterior.)

I had a dream in which I had lunch with an ex-crush from four years ago.

I have had a few sexual dreams. In two I was female, opposite from my real gender; in one I was a vampire, and in the other I was performing oral sex.

I had a dream in which I was back in high school on a field trip to a Costa Rican rainforest.

I ran out of the prescription and my itching has not come back, but I wish I had more.

Can you go into one of those recent dreams in more detail?

Could you narrow it down to the one you're most interested in; then I could try to remember more.

The dream with the Half Life + Silent Hill feel was interrupted by a different dream; might have been the rain forest one.

I also remembered a couple more dreams from that time.

There was one in which I was fighting against men with no faces. I don't really remember most of the circumstances of the dream, but I remember it having a very hectic action-filmy kind of feel to it, just guns though, no explosions.

There was one in which the world had a sort of film noir feel to it, and everyone was some kind of animal, mostly foxes if I remember correctly.

And a couple more dreams from before the Atarax dreams.

I had a zombie apocalypse dream a few years ago, but the zombies were more like recast friendly Fallout mutants than the typical depiction of zombies.

One of my only nightmares(many of my dreams might have nightmarish themes, but I don't consider them nightmares because I actually enjoy them greatly) was when I was a little boy, and the portion which I actually remember experiencing was remarkably tiny, just someone repeatedly flipping a light switch. Now that I think about it, I remember having a lot of sleep problems as a child. If I was to try to analyze that dream as I am now, I would probably say that it was about two conflicting states of being, back then it was just nonsense though.

For a very short time, I actually had a dream journal. I have since misplaced it, but maybe if I have some really cool dreams I'll start a new one.

The mix you present here, are about your personality, and how you feel about what is going on in your life. Watch less syfy channel movies.

I don't watch any syfy channel movies. In fact, I sort of hate the movies they have on that misbegotten network.
