I can pretty much figure out my dreams, but this has been happening to me for the last few nights.
This is so hard to explain. I wake up and my identity has changed into something menacing and the real me is gone out of me. I have to really force myself awake to get my actually self to return to my body. I read online that it may be a form of dissociation. I have C-PTSD so that would make sense for me. It's very disturbing. Does anyone understand this or had this happen to them?

I haven't awakened without myself, but I have felt like all of my body was missing except my head!
Are you seeing a therapist by any chance? ![]() |

wow, that's kind of creepy. Yah, I have a T. I see him in two weeks and I'm going to definitely tell him.
