So last night was the second time I've had a dream of being arrested by a very large amount of police officers, for no legal reason whatsoever. (I actually asked and the reason was I was too damaging when I gripped peoples hands which I am sometimes like when getting shots I've been told it HURTS) And aside from not making sense i.e. 12 police officers in a room where 2 people barely fit, playing my xbox with a tv in there and checking memory cards that don't go to it in a hole that doesn't exist (???) everything that was said seemed to be along the "we're saying what you tell yourself" lines. Is that guilt perhaps? I felt kinda bad but not overly much when I death gripped my mothers hand while getting a shot.

You are telling yourself that all this is nonsense. The stuff you had been telling yourself, about yourself, in real life in the past, is all nonsense.

Dreams like this can be scary, no one wants to be arrested even in dreams. You may be dreaming this way to address some of your fears. Becoming an adult is hard and your dream may be saying you need to face your fears without causing pain to others.

Have you ever heard of school failure dreams? These are a very common anxiety dream where the dreamer has to take an important test and discovers they didn't study the right subject and can't find the room and they're running all over their old high school or college frantically trying to find the test room.

But as people get older and farther away from school, it's not uncommon to start dreaming about being arrested. I used to have school failure dreams whenever I was facing some sort of challenge or obstacles, then the dreams suddenly morphed into getting arrested over some stupid misunderstanding, pushed around by the cops, having to go to court, no one listening to my explanations or believing the truth, complete public embarrassment.

It's all about facing some sort of challenge or obstacle in real life and feeling normal and natural anxiety in your dreams. I have no idea why I morphed from school failure into getting arrested, but other people I know who used to have school failure dreams have had the same experience. I am now getting carted off to jail in my dreams whenever I feel like I'm in a situation (in waking life) where other people will be judging me critically or finding fault no matter what I do or say.
