Well staying up all night with my new HP laptop and broadband access and then working all day Wednesday caught up with me this morning with nausea, pounding headache, and extreme dizzyness and exhaustion.
Gone are the days in my twenties when i could stay up all night on a six pack of mountain dew and then going about my day until I crashed. I had to take a sick day from my construction job today but I needed rest and music and some pain pills to feel better and eat some good meals. It such a wake-up call to this 45 year old boy that has to realize that i'm not in my twenties or thirties anymore to do this stuff. I NEED a full 8 hours of sleep and then i can go all day fine. So many of us with MI need our rest to function clearly or like me in some of you have hallucinations and an out of body experience today until i took a pain pill and calmed me right down along with my xanax. been drinking orange juice and water all day. the dizzy spells are gone and my head is no longer pounding. I need to make sure these working days in the heat I get plenty of water, sleep, and a set schedule back to night meds, water, in bed by 11pm and up at 8am sharp to take care of my cats and myself. Thanks for letting me vent and I hope someone out there that reads this feels the same way about getting good sleep. ![]()
