I keep having dreams about escaping or running from something. I never make it out. Usually its a place like a mental institution or a ship. I feel like this is my mind telling me i need to be re-hospitalized. But i'm not suicidal or anything. My mind is whack.

Anyhow these dreams scare me. I can't sleep because of the feelings they leave me with, like foreboding doom in my stomach. I hate feeling this way because my mind is right. I need to see a doctor and get this fixed.

You are trying to escape a state of mind in yourself. Your feeling like a whacko is doomed. That why the foreboding feelings. See a mechanic to get "this" fixed, not a doctor.

Sometimes your brain likes to remind you (in the most horrific way possible) how much you value someone. Don't worry, it's not a foreshadowing. You brain's just saying "hey, imagine if this happened, Ima make you cry now"

I used to have dreams like that as well.

From what I figured, it's about feeling overwhelmed and trapped, like you're in a maze and you don't know how to get out. Are you going through a situation where you feel like you have no control?
