I had a dream that I was the pilot of a passenger plane carrying 165 people on board. We were crossing the Pacific ocean headed to Los Angelas when all the sudden the horizontal stabilizer and elevator snapped and jammed in a downward position, forcing the plane into an uncontrolled dive from 18,000 feet. Me and the copilot fought hard to fight for control and a few times I had a birds eye view of the plane as it turned over a couple times. We tried to fly upside down but to no avail. Alarms were beeping, and a voice recording warning repeated, "sink rate, pull up." Passengers screamed, and before impact, the stabilizer eventually ripped off the plane completely due to the tremendous amount of stress put on it due to the rapid decent. After a two minute dive, the plane crashed into the ocean, killing all on board. I had another birds eye of the wreckage and search and rescue but it was clear that no one survived. All 165 passengers and crew died on impact. It was a very realistic and chaotic dream, scary as well. Don't know what this dream means though.

Hello, BPHS2010. Some crashes in the news. Are you a pilot?

I wish you well.

In your next dream, try a decent cruising altitude.

I have recurrent airplane dreams (that started before I actually cared much about planes), in my dream I look out my window and I see a commercial aircraft coming towards me (typical Boeing nose, white plane with some small dark blue stripe and logo) and it crashes into my house. (And yea I had these before 911.)

Lol why a decent altitude if it will crash anyway? Lol joking joking lol but yeah those kinds of dreams are disturbing. Wow, yeah that kind of dream you described is scary, and usually for me they tend to involve jumbo jets as well.

This dream relates to some thing going on in real life. Compare the feelings in the dream to how you feel about some thing going on in real life.

Makes sense, in the dream there was extreme fear but at the same time, very determined to wrestle the plane out of it's dive until the very end. Eventually within the last few hundred feet before impact, I had basically given up the fight since I knew there was no chance. That can relate to how I feel about certain things.
