This was not recent but a few years I had probably the most vivid dream I've ever had. It was a long, complex story but in the end I was at the beach with a girl I've never met but we were apparently in a relationship. It was an incredibly vivid dream, so much so that when my alarm went off I felt disoriented when I tried to readjust to the real world. I have never had a relationship in real life and the closest was a complete disaster. I felt a more genuine connection to the girl in the dream than I have for a girl in a long time. For a couple of weeks afterword I actually missed her. Has anyone else had this experience? I'm trying to make any kind of sense of it I can.

It's a pretty common thing. That "real" dream scenario is pretty vivid and hard to shake. Hopefully this was a premonition type deal!

I have had dreams where I am with groups of people who are acting like they are my long time friends, but I've never seen those faces in real life. Its kind of weird but I'm not complaining the brain is a very interesting thing isn't it?

When I was a child I had a dream playing with kids that I have never seen in real life. I was surprised that in my early 20's I dreamed about them again... seems a continuation, yet they also grew up same as my age.. But i knew in my heart they were the kids that I dreamed when I was a child.
