So I'm pretty sure I have sleep apnea. I have the sleep study in about a month and a half.

I also have bp 1 and PTSD. I checked myself into the hospital bc I thought it was a bp problem. Well they said the sleep apnea is whats causing the majority of my problems.

I'm on 4 different meds for sleep and the only way I seem to be able to sleep, (and I only sleep sometimes) is by sitting up. If I lay on my side it's still hard to breathe. I just don't know what to do. I'm soooo tired most of them time but can't sleep. The sleep clinic couldn't offer me any advice until I'm a client. Any suggestions?

Yeah although they said that rarely happens.

I'm finally sleeping, idk what was going on. But I'm getting between 7-8 hrs. I'm still gonna do the sleep study though. Thanks bluekoi.

sunshine1995, My friend uses a CPAP mask & machine. She just started it and says she really feels refreshed when she wakes in the morning!

You all are crazy; who say that machine helps you to wake up refreshed. It tried to kill me. It made my heart get loud and strong palpitations, mad me feel like I was on stimulant medication, and gave me the worst insomnia I ever had. I read somewhere on the internet that sleep deprivation kills. The sad thing was no doctor seemed to care. One doctor said well that was the result of the sleep study and that was that. My gp said that he thought it was the machine, but, then diagnosed me as normal and that was that. I have moved to another town. But, before that, I "fired" both doctors. I wasn't even in the hospital for this; but, now I suspect a medical hoax to profit from my medicare insurance. In the meantime, I do suffer. But, this time, I suspect it may be from something gone wrong with my Lithium which I have been on for about twenty years; but now I believe my body is rejecting it and is acting as if it is toxic or a severe side effect. I see a new psychiatrist on Thursday. I just need patience until the n!
