My classmate has insomnia. He can only sleep in his car between classes. Does therapy work at all with this? It seems to be such an intractable condition, resistant to treatment (melatonin). I would be interested to know if there are any treatment success stories here. Thanks.

You friend needs to do a sleep study first and see what they say about it. There can be a lot of reasons for the insomnia and a sleep study will point out or eliminate some of them.
Thanks for this!
