I never dream but last night I had three seperate dreams that were a continuation of each other, after each waking I returned to the same dream right where it dropped off, then I had a completely seperate dream the next time,,yes I woke four times last night..I skipped my ambien on purpose who says it's not addicting. Even with it I wake between one to three times a night. No caffine at all, keep a schedule, dark room, background noise, right temperature, my sleep is awful and not restful..But I never dream,,is dreaming a good sign or a bad one,,does dreaming mean I reaching a better level of sleep or not..both dreams were troubling,,the long segmented one was filled with me killing others as a soldier and finally being trapped about to be killed, then I woke...[no i never was a soldier or in the military....no bad memories,,] the last was feeling lost and trapped, not knowing were or why I was at, struggling to get out and find my way home but not reaching it..I like the idea of dreaming as I have not in years, the subject matter was too dark to be comfortable though..but is dreaming a good sign of my sleep health or a bad one ?

Researchers believe we all dream, but don't always remember our dreams. And drugs can affect the nature and vividness of our dreams. I think when we dream it does show we are reaching all the stages of sleep, so I see it as a sign that we are sleeping well.
I am not sure what to make of the nature of your dreams, though. If this theme continues, then it might suggest you are dealing with issues related to the subject matter some how. ![]() |

Those dreams may relate to real life. What is going on in your life, that makes you feel the way you do in those dreams?
