I think this dream is important, just curious what you think it might mean...

I was in a ship that was rocking really heavily, like it was in a violent storm on the ocean. The captain was a person that I know and that I personally hate, but although he was in charge I felt like the ship was somehow on auto-pilot at least at that moment. I looked out a porthole and saw that the ship was really roped into the cul-de-sac of my childhood house. (A house I was afraid of as a kid, where many bad things happened to me.) The garage on my old house opened for ships to sail into, the whole cul-de-sac and garage was filled with water, like the houses on the street were just floating in the ocean.

Next thing I know I was inside the house, and it was full of middle aged people who were playing cards and board games. A woman approached me and asked if I would "inspect" the house, and I assumed she was a cleaning lady. I wasn't really interested in critiquing her work, so I just said "looks good" hoping she would go away. The floor was littered with crumbs, she looked down and said "oh, I'll sweep those up." Then she told me just out of the blue "you stink, just thought you'd like to know. I would want someone to tell me if I smelled bad." I felt embarrassed, and wanted to shower. I asked her who all the people were and she said they were my dads family, but we don't have a family like that so I figured she just was confused.

You feel you do not belong in that house anymore. You cleaned up the crumbs, and felt out of place. That place is a dead end for you now. The card "games" and all are irrelavent to you now. The cleaning lady was the part of you that had to deal with those games, and clean up the aftermath.
