After a couple of days, I am attending an event (relaxing one) which will have me sitting and watching films for straight 8 hours (with short breaks in between). The problem is that before that I am working (physical work) for 7 hours, then the event comes (8 hours), then I will sleep for 5 hours, then again I get up and have to work 7 hours. All in all, I will have 5 hours of sleep in the span of around 40 hours. I am a little worried whether I will be able to endure and not pass out. I can't neither skip the event or have the work days off. Do you think everything will be ok? I am 21 years old. Thank you

With enough coffee and red bull I think you will be ok. And if there is a boring movie you can take a nap. My question is however, why do you do that? Why not in the weekend or off-days when you can sleep a bit more?

Dx: Mix anhedonia with Bipolar II. Add some insomnia and chronic stress. Season with paroxetine and a pinch of ADD. Stir well to induce a couple of hypo/manic episodes. After the excess of energy is gone, remove the Paroxetine and serve chilled with some C-PTSD and GAD. Ready is your MDD.

Mx: To clean up the mess use lamotrigine, r
isperidon, mirtazapine and sertraline. Let it soak in for a while but keep a close eye on it. Meanwhile enjoy your desert of oxazepam/temazepam prn.

Because I have been waiting for this event for more than a year. I really want to be present there as I will share the excitement with all other people who will see it there as well.

Thanks for the coffee and redbull suggestion. Any other advice? You are sure nothing will happen?

If u are not bipolar or vulnerable to other illnessess that could be triggered by sleep deprivation, I see no problem. But I dont know your Dx.
When I was 21 it was no problem.

I am not saying that I recommend it, its your choice. If you have doubts already: dont do it.

The reason that you give: that you are waiting for a year to this event, is not a valid reason.
