For the past few weeks I haven't been able to sleep until 6 am despite taking my Restoril which my psychiatrist has me at twice the max dose for. He suggested I take 2 Klonipin with it, but that hasn't helped. I don't know what to do. I'm miserable.

Hello mel7mac: I'm sorry you are having such a difficult time. I'm afraid I don't really have much in the way of useful suggestions for you. Is there a possibility of being seen at a sleep clinic? It sounds like whatever it is that's going on with you is beyond any run-of-the-mill suggestions any of us laypersons might come up with. My best wishes to you... I sometimes have difficulty sleeping too. So I know how bad it can make you feel.
