I dreamed I had ordered some food and was waiting for it to be delivered. I stood in my living room looking out the window. It was dark outside,but the porch light was on so I could still see if anyone pulled up. It wasn't long before I saw a woman on a Rascal scooter pull up and park. The scooter had a metal basket on the front and there were three small children riding on it with her. I opened the door and this young brunette woman with short curly hair was standing outside. There were small clumps of snow on the edge of the porch. The woman held the youngest child in her arms;another,a small mixed race girl in a pink coat walked through the snow and stood there. The woman handed me the sales slip to sign. I began to sign my name. The woman told one of the other children not to come up on the porch if they didn't think they could make it. I noticed the price of my order on the slip was $39.91. I thought that was a tad expensive considering I had only ordered a pizza,breadsticks and a two-liter of soda. Underneath this was another amount,a rough estimate of how much it cost,$40.00. The woman looked at the order slip and even she thought there was some kind of problem with the final cost. But I wanted the food so I didn't make a fuss. I made a mental note to call the restaurant after she left to see if maybe they had messed up and double-charged me or something.

It weirded me out a little,at first. I also noticed that it was a winter setting in the dream,which obviously means something. I've had others that were also set during winter. And I may be wrong but it feels like the message here is "paying too high a price for something I really want",which could apply to a few issues in my life.

This dream probably does apply to a real life situation. You may be paying a to high of a price.
