I no longer have these dreams but when I was a child possibly up to my very early teens, I had a handful of dreams where a bear was chasing me. In these dreams every time, I was outside playing in the woods on the side of my house where I lived at the time and then a bear would come along and chase me. It never caught me in my dreams because I would always wake up as soon as I made it through the front door or right before I made it inside. Every time I had this dream, it was pretty much the same thing except for one time. The one time it was different, I was playing in the back yard and instead of a bear coming up on me, it looked a lot like Wile E. Coyote (I know, sounds crazy but that's who I seriously thought it was). It chased me to the back door and once again it never caught me because I woke up. I remember in that dream, I was more scared then I was of the bears. I've hardly ever remembered my dreams so that's why I've always wondered what these could have meant, especially since I still remember them fairly well after all these years. What do you think these dreams could've meant?

Another thing I've been wondering about is snakes. I'm pretty terrified of them and as far as I can remember I have never had a dream about them. But almost EVERY night for the past 5-7 YEARS at least, when I'm laying in bed but always before I'm anywhere near sleep, I think about them. I imagine them being on the floor and raising their head up over the bed or crawling on the bed. I stare at the blanket where it's bunched up until I can see a snake. It's not hallucinations...I'm not sure what it is but it's scary and creeps me out. I'm scared of other things but I never do this with anything else so I wondered if there was another reason why I do this. Any idea of what that's all about?

I too have had dreams about bears. One was a white polar bear that carried me away on his back to save me from a terrible situation. The next was brown and angry. It chased me with the intent of hurting me. I've learned, take this for what it's worth, when we dream of animals and it's recurring, they have chosen you, to be a Spirit Guide for. A Shaman recently confirmed this for me. Probably not the response you were expecting and I don't know your religious views, so please don't take offense. I would look up Brown Bear Spirit Animal Guide and see what it has to say. Ask these bears and snakes, before you go to bed and meditate on the thought, "What do you have to teach me? Can you share you message in away I can understand and receive it?" I would be curious to know if you try this and see what happens. Maybe your fear will lesson and if they know your intent is to understand, maybe they will reach out in a non-scary way. Good luck!

That's interesting. I may have to try that. As I mentioned, I don't have the bear dreams anymore and even though I'd still like to know what they could've meant, I don't know if this will work since I don't have them anymore. My problem now are the snakes. I just find it weird that I never dream about them, I just think about them before I go to sleep and it's scary because I'm terrified of them. Thank you for your comment and tips. If I remember to try what you suggested and if it does anything I'll let you know.

The bear is a part of yourself. The snakes may represent your feelings. View Disney's 2016 movie "The Jungle Book" to learn what a power or spirit animal is. That story tells best about Spirit, Power, Animal Guides, better than any thing I seen online.
