I have to be up at a certain time and I can't seem to stop sleeping. My alarm on my phone is barely able to get me up even if I set it across the room I guess it's just not annoying or loud enough to really wake me up. I haven't had any coffee in awhile, I won't be getting some more till this weekend. Any tips for waking up? I can go to bed as early as 5pm and still not get up in time for my social work class in the morning. I'm just tired all the time too and have been feeling lazy. Any suggestions?

There could be more than a single reason for your reluctance to wake up! Perhaps the main reason is that subconsciously you don't like the job or occupation you have to be woken up for. The medicines you take, especially if you take anti depressants might make you tired and sleepy. A virus infection could also be responsible for your sleepyness |
