Very often I dream about anxieties (the classic "missed an exam" dream, dreams about scary animals, bad memories, exc.). I recently dreamed that cousin who is one of my best friends died; I watched other people cry about it, went to the funeral and so forth. It was so vivid that when I woke up I wasn't sure if he was alive or not for a brief time. I'm not sure why I had this dream, since I have no actual concerns about him dying; he's young, in good health, and doesn't do anything particularly dangerous. I'm not concerned about my own mortality at the moment either. I can't really tell why I had the dream and it was such a significant one that I'd like to hear what people think.

The dream could mirror a real life situation you were in, where people were whining and crying about every thing possible. A situation that you may of left behind.

Maybe, I am surrounded by a lot of very negative people at the moment, but it didn't feel the same in the dream.
