I just did everything to relax and then I heard a voice say commit suicide so I got pissed off and now I'm wide awake.

I did kickboxing today so I feel accomplished.

I applied for this assistant accountant internship and I'm hoping to hear from them.

The reason I'm angry is because I tried so hard to relax and now I have to do it again. It's one am. I'll take an Ativan to sleep.

Intrusive thoughts like that indicate low self worth. Work on feeling better about yourself. You seem to be making good head way in life.

Can you use Spotify where you live? If so, there is a podcast called Sleep with Me that reads you stories to fall asleep to that gets boring slowly and lets you doze. This might help you avoid over-thinking while trying to rest but still keep your focus on something. Sometimes our insomnia is worsened by our focus on "trying to sleep".
