I have often known that I am dreaming and occasionally controlled it, although nothing fancy, since high school maybe. I've been having nightmares for about a year and started taking benadryl to sleep in September, it stopped working in January. Now I'm in a cycle where if I realize I'm dreaming, I just wake up. So I average 4-5 hours a night. I'm tired but not enough to sleep. And i can't sleep while the sun is up.

Any advice?
