A star can be understood as being a guiding light or simply a source of knowledge and intelligence. It might suggest fame as in the stars of Hollywood.

Pink is usually the colour of love. As your star appeared from your chest, I would see it as saying that love is your guiding light. But it could also suggest a love of fame and the idea of being a somebody special.
