Why do i sometime remember things like in a representative way, like a dream, especially if I am upset? But it's not a dream, it's just how I remember it. Just wondering.

Well... I don't know. I've read that current brain research is finding... much more of who we are, & what we do, is controlled by areas of our brains to which we have no conscious access than we might typically imagine. So perhaps what you are experiencing could be considered to be messages sent from non-conscious areas of your brain to your conscious self. At least that's my personal non-professional explanation for what you describe.
Thanks for this!
