Every so often I will have a dream that deals with a power outage or some other reason that causes a building to be completely dark. Usually these dreams take place at night as well but sometimes during the day too. Sometimes I am in the building and other times I am outside the building. Recently I had a dream where I was on my college campus and I was a student there in the dream. There was a power outage in the dorm I lived in and it took place during the night.

The lights in the main academic building were still on which was good, but the lights in the residence hall were out for some reason. I didn't want to go in due to the fact that the lights being out gave the building a creepy look and would be eerie to go into a dark building. Normally I wouldn't go in, but in the case, since I wanted to get something, I decided that I would go inside despite not wanting to. Just wondered what it could have meant. And I also wondered what dreams of not wanting to go inside a dark building means.

did you recently overcome something you thought that you would never have the stregnth to do. This could be a dream related to that event. OR is there something coming up that you are not sure you can or should do. This could be a dream telling you to take that step, you can do it and overcome what ever fear/anxiety you are having.

What is so telling about this is that it was dark, you were fearful, and you push forward anyway and nothing bad happened.

Interesting dream. I have lots of scary dreams. Not sure what they mean. I guess just your brain trying to process events of the day and your fears and worries.
