I hate waking up in the morning. I hate mornings in general. I like to sleep in a little bit.

Waking up at 5:30-6:00AM is not fun and I hate it. I am a night owl who can't function in the morning to save my life. I have to wake up earlier when I have to leave because it takes longer for my mind to adapt and start working because I'm so freaking tired in the morning even if I actually sleep. I struggle to get out the door without lots of coffee or energy drinks.

I should just accept that I'm not wired to be a "morning person". Screw mornings.

I'll join your "Screw Mornings" club. The moment the sun starts to dip, though, I feel almost like a normal person again.

As long as I've got enough sleep, I can function as well in the morning as at any other time. So, when not in major depression, I'm okay with mornings as such.

But ... I always loathe getting up when it's still dark outside.

I refuse to call that morning. That's pre-morning. More commonly called "night".

My body says, "Nope, this isn't right. I won't get up."
And my mind says, "Body's correct. Go back to sleep."
