Does anyone remember Max and Ermas? Or live near one? I thought they all closed years ago. But I guess just the ones in my state. There are like 72 still in existence.

My aunt died from a massive heart attack while eating at one. So I didn't want to eat at one anyways.

But they have these creepy Max and Erma puppet mascots. Look it up if you want. They terrified me when I was a kid. I remember I saw people wearing costumes at a parade.

I don't know why but I looked them up tonight. I possibly have REM sleep behavior disorder and I'll often have visual hallucinations in my sleep.

I saw little toy dinosaurs on the floor this morning at 5:30. I actually yelled for my mom.

There's no question about it. These puppet mascots are gonna cause some trouble. Maybe not tonight. Although there is a pretty good chance they might. But they will cause issues in the next 3 weeks. every scary thing I see eventually catches up to me in my sleep My mom says she could see me having a night terror caused by a visual hallucination of those guys.

I know there's probably nothing I can do. I've taken my melatonin and I'm stressed. So some sleep issue is possible. But does anyone have any suggestions?

It's been a few days since you posted this. Hopefully you're feeling better. Many years ago, now, my wife & I ate dinner at a Max & Ermas on a trip somewhere in Ohio. As I recall, they had an ice cream bar in a bathtub!

I️ change my mind a lot. I️ looked at the menu and now I️ kind of want to eat there. I️ also have issues with nostalgia. There was one kind of walking distance by my house that must of closed 10-11 years ago.

Maybe I️ think it’s going to be some kind of closure for my aunt? Or maybe. I️ just have a serious nostalgia problem.

They are kind of unavoidable in Ohio. So I’ll probably get a chance to eat at one when we go on vacation in the summer.

Sorry if I️ basically wasted people’s time with this post.
