I've tried this combo for probably 8 months with the dose of Zoloft ranging from 25-100 with Vyvanse 50 and Dexedrine 10-20 mg as needed. I'm also on Lorazepam 1.5 mg (up to that) as needed, and Lunesta 2 mg (as needed). I'm really having a hard time sleeping and as always, I got prescribed a ton of crap and now I have to wiggle my way off of it painfully. Is there any way I can help this since I also am on Androgel for testosterone replacement therapy as well as am on blood pressure medicine HCTZ. It's so much stuff I'm probably just going to have to come off slowly over time from it all, but dang it why do doctors just overload me with PM pills time and time again? I self-tapered off 4 medicines once for sleeping and it was absolute hell and I don't want to do it again. The amphetamines aren't working at all for my sleep but they've been a God for my ADHD and Zoloft has been really sedating (yet I cannot sleep on the dang med). I am trying not to change the doses too aggressively or too fast, but my doctor is way too slow on advising me and his advice is always rather common-sense based anyhow, and I have college starting Tuesday so I don't have time to screw around endlessly. I am pretty sure I'm screwed, but I hope I can get off this stuff soon as I don't know if a slow-taper is going to be worth it. I might as well go hard on this stuff and try cutting the Lorazepam, Ativan, Amphetamines out, and Zoloft down all at once and just deal with the torment and have it be done. This seriously sucks and I don't get why psychotropic drugs have failed me for ADHD and OCD with sleeping time and time again, but I'm so blasted tired of everything (literally and figuratively). Melatonin makes me sleep even worse and any kind of herbal supplement wires me up like caffeine, I cannot even run because the stimulation from running keeps me awake. I am so depressed and this is incredibly hard because the only answer is just dry/hard/aggressive tapering off stuff or doing it painfully slowly (either route is going to suck), so maybe I should do a LONG taper off some of these things? The Lunesta I just cannot kick and I've tried again and again. I asked my doc before going on it and he said it wouldn't be hard to come off so I took it for 3 days total and I was HOOKED FOR WEEKS. God, I cannot believe the Healthcare system and the professionals that think they know what they are doing when they prescribe stuff because they have absolutely ruined weeks of my academic life, took a dump on my GPA, and have completely ruined my last 4 years of my life. I have a crappy GPA and student loan debt from trying over 30 psychotropic drugs in like 6 years! I am going crazy...
