I had a strange vivid dream or vision where I became aware of a small tree and suddenly a flock of little birds exploded from the tree and flew away. To me it seemed to symbolize something maybe a depression leaving me but I don't remember being depressed at the time.

Birds in dreams often symbolize your goals, aspirations and hopes, which sounds like the kind of dream someone might have if they're not feeling depressed, perhaps.
