I dreamed that my mother was getting married and on the wedding day all was amiss with me. My shoes came in 3 sizes too big and were mis-labeled. There was a problem with my dress. It required sewing. Just as I thought I'd finally get a handle on it (sewing by hand), I stepped away and came back to find someone had intentionally cut the skirt away from the bodice with a scissors! I was flummoxed , flustered and felt like a total screw up. I was out of time to fix things. Nothing came together after that, leaving me unsettled feeling.

I wonder if the dream is suggesting you either feel you don't 'measure' up or she feels that way. And, maybe there is a sense that someone is intentionally sabotaging your situation or maybe just making it difficult for you.
Thanks for this!

You may feel unsettled in a real life situation where you feel you are trying to fix up things, but others keep undoing your hard work.
