Normally I'm pretty good at figuring my dreams out, but this one has me stumped. I dreamt that I was at my childhood home, and my parents had gotten two pet rabbits. One of the rabbits would bite into my feet whenever I wasn't wearing a sock. It was incredibly painful, but the rabbit never drew blood.

Hi daisydid. Yes, what an interesting dream. This is one thing that my favourite dream interpretation website says about rabbits in dreams. And I was surprised they mentioned rabbits biting the toes as well! - or in your case, the feet.
"...If you dream that the rabbit scratches or bites you, then it means that you need to pay more attention to your personal relationship or love life. If the bunny bites your toes, then it implies that this relationship is headed down the wrong direction." So, the rabbit might be warning you of something. |

A childhood home refers to a state of mindand way of thinking that protected our innocence - and thus also our ignorance - for our own good. When an adult revisits a previous home referred to as a"childhood" home, it emphasizes the idea of using thinking that is now considered childish. The opinions and beliefs being now used lack inmaturity; they may reflect thinking that is very simple such as is associatedwith childish foolishness.
The rabbits represent an aspect of your own emotional nature reflecting a particular feeling one usually associated with an inclination towards lots of sex and unlimited procreation {as in "breeding like rabbits"). While the sex of the two rabbits is not specified, two pet rabbits could be understood as being a breeding pair of rabbits thus emphasizing the idea of procreation. Two pet rabbits, especially as the sex is not specified, would strongly imply that the idea of unlimited procreation can be regarded as a negative idea. In this scene the parents can represent your idea of parenthood and suggests that when thinking of parenthood or as a parent, you have come to favour the idea of unlimited procreation.("pet" rabbits) By biting you, it is shown that a feeling that could incline you towards the idea of not limiting the number of children is not working in your favour. This feeling is giving the understanding (the feet) you have {about size of family}a lot of emotional pain. (incredibly painful). This emotional pain occurs whenever you do not demonstrate that you want to "pull up your socks" i.e. make more of an effort to improve your way of functioning. By never drawing blood it is indicated that a feeling regarding not limiting family size is not causing you to make a sacrifice {probably becauseScripture does say to "go forth and multiply" }but this feeling or idea is causing you a great deal of emotional pain while living with very"innocent" beliefs.
