I keep dreaming about doctor visits, like the dream takes place in a doctor office or hospital. In one dream I was being forcefully kept at a hospital. Why these dreams?

As the doctor's office is in a building/house and the hospital is also a building, the dream can be emphasizing a state of mind or mental attitude , one related to finding a cure for what ails you both physically and mentally. The doctors represent people with the knowledge to heal you but more importantly, referring to the "doctor's office", implies seeing such people as having a duty to heal you; that your healing depends upon them.
The dream indicates that there is an emotional aspect of yourself that is forcing you to remain living with such an attitude. Dreaming about "doctor's visits" emphasizes that visits at a doctor's place of work should be simply "a visit" but not become a mental attitude that extends for a long period of time. (like the expression -a nice place to visit but I would not want to stay there] Why these dreams? Because your mental attitude towards healing is incorrect. |
