Most of the dreams I remember these days seem to involve bad moods or sad moods from the past? Do other people have dreams like these? Are they helpful in processing unhappy or less desirable memories? What does the forum think?

The majority of dreams I have involve some type of abandonment, violence, trauma, and general unhappiness. I don't think it's not normal to have these dreams. It depends what you have had to endure, and what you are going through. Part of me feels like it helps, but the larger part of me wishes they wouldn't happen. I want sleep without dreams.

Our minds always process feelings and situations in dreams.

Yes, I think your mind is processing the negative feelings and moods you've experienced, and still carry with you. Those moods cause you anxiety so through your dreams your working through that anxiety.
