What helps me is hard core exercise but these days I can only do walking and light calesthenics.

Sometime I have physical pain in my back or my leg from the bone marrow I had done that keeps me awake or sometime it is neither one of those that keeps me awake.

These days I alternate between insomnia and sleeping okay. I was laid off from that job when I came off my leave, which was for the best.

We are in winter in the Southern Hemisphere and I sleep better. Lots of blankets and a mattress topper create a cozier environment. The summer heat here makes it all worse, for sure.
I been under a lot of stress lately and my nurse practitioner thinks the stress is causing me to have sleep problems. I just had an allergy test done to see what might be messing with my allergies.

I tried melatonin it didn’t help me sleep and cause me to have a bad reaction to it. Sometime bendryl help me sleep. I’m thinking about trying out sleep aid to see if that will help me sleep. I have been under a lot of stress.

Please tell me someone has experience with Belsomra. its been useless for me so far. I am unsure if its like ambien and causes you to fall asleep or if its something that requires titration.

I was prescribed Prozac and Hydroxyzine last week, both for anxiety, but the Hydroxyzine can also be prescribed for sleep. I take some of that at bedtime and it has helped a little but I'm still tossing and turning and awake more than I'd like, but my sleep has improved a little. Might experiment one of these nights by not taking it at all and see what happens.

I never tried it or ever heard it. Sometime Lauren Fenton sleep meditation helps me sleep depending on how bad my insomnia is.

I didn’t know that hydroxyzine can be used for anxiety and sleep. I’m allergic to hydroxyzine.

Lockdown added other delights, such as strange dreams!
That what one of the herbal remedies was doing to me as I got older

I'm sorry, I don't really have any good suggestions because when I can't sleep, there's nothing I can do about it. I try to read because it tires my eyes. It works sometimes, but sometimes it does.

My doctor thinks that it is because I am under a lot of stress. Unless I take something for me to sleep. I won’t sleep at all.

I have a natural remedy for insomnia which may or may not work for you. When you are lying in bed, relax your body, then hold your breath and count to 30 . If its difficult you can count to 20. Then breath in gently. Count silently in your mind. It interrupts thoughts that may be troubling you. Breath normally after that for a while, then do it again. You can repeat this indefinitely till you fall asleep. This technique also lowers blood pressure. When holding your breath, do not strain yourself but do it for a comfortable time. Good luck!
