I had a dream where I was on my college campus walking back to my dorm room at night. I walked through the front entrance and rounded the corner to head down the hall. But as I rounded the corner, I saw an unknown elderly man standing there. He told me to take a look at the heads at the end of the hall right by my room. There were six of them on little poles on a table.

At that moment, they started floating up and coming towards us. The man said that they have awakened and told me to run as fast as possible. I did just that. I bolted out the entrance and ran across the parking lot. They started unanimously telling me to stay, to join them and that I was one of them. I stopped at the end of the parking lot by the road and looked back.

They were just coming out of the main entrance and coming across the parking lot while still calling to me and telling me to go back to them and join them. I started running down the hill to the gym building which was totally dark. All the other buildings were dark too and all parking lots were empty. As I was halfway down the hill, I could hear them much closer and knew I would not make it to the gym building especially since it was closed anyway.

Out of sheer desperation and having nowhere to go, I quickly changed direction and bolted across another parking lot, aimlessly running and trying to lose them. I knew it was a futile attempt since I could hear them right behind me by this point, still calling to me. At that point, I knew I was done for. The dream ended there. Overall a creepy dream. I know a dream is just a dream but at the same time sometimes I wonder if dreams like this could also have a subconscious meaning to something going on in your life. Dreams are weird.

I had a weird dream about head's long back.In my dream I was playing with a neighborhood girl ,and we mutually agreed upon exchanging our heads .I removed my head((funny though)) and handed it over her,she was holding my head in her palms my head was looking at me and the girl was just going away with my head.I was begging her to give me her head and she was not.I was panicking in my dream that I may have to live the rest of my life headless.I woke up.I remember to this day about it.
Recently I got interested in dream interpretation. I Google it a lot and want to know the hidden meaning if any.

Oh wow, that's a combination of disturbing but funny at the same time. Yeah I like looking up dream interpretations too. Most dreams are just that, dreams. But at times dreams can be very weird manifestations of your subconscious thinking about something that is going on in your life. Or a sense that something may happen down the road, like someone passing away or something else in your life that may be spiraling out of control.

Maybe those heads represent thoughts or feelings, or people, you've been trying to avoid, and this time they came into your dreamworld, beckoning you to go to them. That's my couch psychologists sort of most obvious thing to assign to your dream. I guess if it was my dream I might interpret it that way. Maybe it's about facing something specific you'd much rather avoid.

Yeah that actually does make sense. The subconscious mind is weird when it comes to dreaming, it could easily just be a random weird dream or it can be something your subconscious is trying to tell you.

Absolutely, yes. And I've always felt that if the emotion of fear/terror is present in the dream, like in your one (I've had my fair share of horror dreams too, for sure) that this is linked to the amount of anxiety or trepidation, for whatever reason, the person might be experiencing in their waking life - carried over into the dreamworld. Because I've observed that pattern in myself (but obviously that pattern isn't necessarily applicable to everyone).

Wow, being chased by floating heads, though. Horrific! Terrifying! Disembodied heads. 😁

Yep I agree! It can be different for everyone. And yeah those kinds of dreams are scary!
