Thanks, Beth. I don't remember exactly how I felt then but I've been having a lot of very weird and emotional dreams lately. I remember all sorts of strong feelings, including fear, sadness, loneliness, anger, confusion, and lots of despair. Sometimes those feelings linger into the next day(s) along with confusion about whether it was real. I've been afraid of the dark, too, feeling like "presences" are nearby sometimes. Been sleeping with my bedroom door locked. I suppose it's a good thing I'm starting ECT soon, hopefully it will finally restore my sleep to normal again.

FluffyDinosaur - Whew, I have just about the same sleep and dream stuff going on for quite a while, now. Even being afraid of the dark!! I feel sad about that; I normally enjoy the darkness at night. But the dreams are so vivid and realistic that I'm having fears about sleeping. I also tend to feel "presences" around.
I sure hope ECT helps you. Do you know yet when your treatments will begin? __________________ |

Thanks, I hope so too! I got pretty last-minute notification, but the treatments began last week. I'm up for the second one tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Maybe it means to provoke to danger or to constantly live on the edge, living through extremes, taking unnecessary risks... Or that there is some danger hiding in the bush, you know it is there, but you just let it be.

@ReveuseTroublee: Thanks, that does sound like a plausible explanation on its own. However, I don't think it applies to my situation. I'm not someone who takes unnecessary risks, or at least I can't think of what they would be, and I don't tend to just leave dangerous situations be, either. Unless you count ECT treatment as a risk, which I suppose it is in a sense, but definitely not an unnecessary one.
@BethRags: By the way, the "presences" and the fear of the dark are something I get sometimes when I get mixed features, but they also seem to be provoked by Seroquel sometimes. So maybe those experiences could be another Seroquel-related thing for you as well. |

Wow! That's an unsettling thought...one more reason to come of Seroquel. __________________ |
