Hi all, (it's currently 3:03am)

My sleep has been just awful lately. I can't get to sleep until around 4am and when I do fall asleep I sleep for about 10 hours. When I wake up I have absolutely no motivation to get myself out of bed, so I'll just end up going back to sleep on and off for hours and hours until around mid day.

I suffer from nightmares due to my PTSD and it makes me afraid to go to sleep and I just don't feel sleepy at night because I have always been a night owl.
I started taking off brand Zzzquil and that seemed to help a bit and I drink Sleepytime tea before bed as well.

Just sort of sharing my experience with everyone.

I have similar sleep issues. I find that the actualy ZzzQuil brand works better than the off brands. Who knows why. Also, have you tried 10mg. of melatonin?

Yes, I would take the on brand Zzzquil, but it contains alcohol which I try to avoid being an ex addict. I have not tried melatonin, but I have heard it works! I will try that next. Thanks for the advice I wish you all the best in getting rest as well!
