I was probably an oceanographer. I had some missions that I have now forgotten. In one scene, I was with a group of people, some were from army. These people taught me to feed a group of sharks with animal carcasses, some were still alive. It was disturbing and gory, but I and everyone there were calm. It was like a normal things to do. The shark were big and scary but surprisingly tame.

This wasn't my first dream of feeding shark in a disturbing way. I have dreamt the same thing a few times before. The situations were always different, but people and I were always calm and acted like it was normal.

Dear Turtle_Rider,

That sounds like a very vivid and unusual dream. I have many vivid and strange dreams but don't know anything about dream interpretation.

Sincerely yours, Yao Wen

Hey turtle rider
First comes the disclaimer, anything I suggest is only to probe your mind, only you can really understand your dreams.
But I like asking questions, like..how many sharks were there?
Were you on a boat? Was someone filming?

I could suggest that the desensitization to the gore of the shark feeding might represent a desensitization to something in your waking life..something that is disturbing but that you have grown accustomed to?

Hi,

I didn't count. There were a group of them, maybe around 5-15.
I was in the boat, but then we descended to a large plank. The plank fit for two people and had no security system. It just floated there and we fed those shark on it.
No one filming.

I don't know whether it is desensitization, though I might not aware about it. Now, I do remember why nobody in the dream freaked out. Everyone treated them like pets, like feeding a pool of kois or giving treats to puppies.
