The more days I have sober, the less weird and bizarre my dreams are becoming…I still have occasional insomnia but things are slowly getting better. 😕

I’m not sure if this is any use or interest to you, but I’ve heard eating things like chocolate or cheese (among other things) before sleeping can cause dreams to be more vivid, but your mileage will vary!
When you sleep the “logic centre” (or prefrontal cortex) is much less active, which is why dreams often make no sense. You have more dreams than you remember, during a decent night’s sleep (you go through several sleep cycles, the last stage of each is REM sleep, where dreams occur) and the dreams you do remember happen before you wake up, usually towards the natural end of an REM cycle. |
