I can't stand it. It ruins my day. I prefer the winter over the summer.

Me too. And no cockroaches in the winter. I have a phobia about them which I can't seem to overcome. But come winter, I am at peace again.

I tend to prefer the darker days of winter as well. However, there is also something to be said (IMHO), for an overcast rainy day in the spring, summer, or autumn.
