Many of my dreams were related to each other. Sometimes I'd dream about the same things for months or years at a time.

They were usually trying to tell me something, or were a sign of something really happening. Often they were nightmares, and even if they strictly weren't I still tend to put them in the same basket.

That happens to me too. I wonder how many people experience that?

Yes, but most people don’t seem to dream like this, at least not regularly. The most I’ve experienced is two to three nights in a row of similar dreams.

Is there anyone here that interprets dreams?

There was at one time someone who did dream interpretation but I don’t know if I’ve seen her around recently. She was very good.

I’ve had several series of dreams. One set is still vivid for me decades later. Ultimately the message was that I needed change. I moved to a big city and met my husband.

A success story then

Some of my series' were about where my freedoms or helplessnesses were.

Hi
I realize this is a late reply.

But it's a very interesting question.

If you're talking about symbols or themes that recur in dreams, I definitely have experienced this.

My experience is that as I become consciously aware of the underlying message of the dream or manage to figure it out, and address the issue the dreams are trying to bring to my attention, the dreams with that particular image or theme stops.
