So I was in this boat that had too many people on it and the people were items of food like meat bread veggies. As the boat was sinking we were driving to a dock and got docked and unloaded saving the boat. The dock was full of stuff.

my other dream I was riding a chair lift with a little kid and got the kid to jump off. part two of same dream was a ski instructor. I was demonstrating how to stop on a hill.

Any ideas. Currently interviewing for a fulltime job. I work part time and am on disability. Will lose disability to go full time.

Interesting dreams but I don't know how to interpret. Best of luck on the job. It doesn't seem fair that one would lose disability because of a full time job.

Hi @Aviza

I'm not sure I have any answers.
If this were my dream, these are some observations/questions:
  • I try and look at any dream on the basis that every thing or person represents me or a part/aspect of me
  • boats can be about the physical body, and boat trip about life journey. You say the boat had too many people, and these people are food items...is there anything resonating in terms of your body? or your life experience?
  • I was also struck by another dream where you mentioned jumping into water with an image of sinking or drowning. Here in this dream its the boat that's sinking.
  • Water can also mean life or spirituality
  • the second part, I'm not I understand all the details, but I would reflect on the key instructor demonstrating how to stop on a hill. How could these instructions be applied to your life or any situations you may be facing?
All the best.

Interesting dreams, and I agree with Yaowen, not very fair. One never knows, so please take this with a grain of salt, but I hear themes of mastery and security. On a completely superficial level, are you wishing to slim down your physique to make a more professional or stylish impression, lol? Silly, but maybe. But on a deeper level, food equals security, and you may feel somewhat insecure about seeing your benefits end, or insecure you will competently assure security for yourself, or possibly for others since the food are also people who need to get to safety. Both dreams have to do with mastery, managing a sinking boat and effectively steering it into dock. Skiing and instructing relate to mastery, and perhaps guiding another in a parental or teacherly manner, or perhaps you are coaching yourself. In any case it sounds like your dream is telling you that you have the capacity to do it! Skiing can also feel very liberating, especially when you know how to stop effectively! And of course mastery easily connects to work and employment, especially as one is in a position of judgment during an interview process.

Wishing you the best in your endeavors. You got this!

So much food..overladen with the bounty, but the dock was also full.
You seem to be out of room, what in your life feels so full?
Do you feel that you cannot bring any of your bounty elsewhere, that there is no space for your gifts/offerings? Do you feel your gifts are expiring(sinking)?
Why would you push a child away? Could it have been you as a child, a reminder that you did not appreciate?
Maybe an instructor, someone in control was a more fitting feeling for your needs?

Your mind has the answers, I just like to ask questions
