I lost a parent and it was a big trauma for me. Today I had a dream where he is trying to come in to the house and I am closing the door. In the dream he keeps following me but I reject him and doesnt know it is him until in the end when I see his face.
I woke up from this dream really shaken. This is someone I miss everyday and means the world to me.Why would I reject him in my dream?

Any insights into this dream is appreciated because I cannot make any sense of it. Thanks.
