I remember pretty much every night as a kid and teenage years, I would dream about
Possible trigger:
The dream would start off with me being in my bedroom (only difference between that room in the dream and my actual bedroom, was in real life I had a big square window, in the dream it was a tiny round window), i would see the smoke first and run to the door, then find the door could not be opened it was red hot (which i know means the fire is right behind it)
Possible trigger:
the earliest I remember having this dream was i was maybe about 5-ish but i probably had the dream before then, but don't remember I did read somewhere that fire in a dream is about sex - but what 5 year old even knows what sex is ????? I remember at that age I believed the stork from Dumbo brought the baby animals to their new mum what other things can fire dreams mean? i'm anxious over going to sleep tonight in case I get that dream again |

I, too, wonder what fire dreams are about. I've never had one, but my daughter began having terrors about fire when she was 3 years old. I very much doubt it was about sex, unless I take into account that every one of us is born as a sexual being. My daughter's awful fear of fire continued into her childhood. At the same time she developed an absolute fascination with Japan. The language, the food, the entire Japanese culture. There was nothing in our family that was connected with Japan. My husband and I considered that perhaps she had, in a previous life, been in Nagasaki or Hiroshima when the atom bombs were dropped and caused fire.
