So apparently I have it, it probably started as a result of Covid I had in August 2022, but luckily it responds to amphetamine.
Dextroamphetamine Sulfate TABLET 5 MG which is the lowest dose of it. I have been on it for 5 days. It works like a miracle. __________________ Bipolar I w/psychotic features Last inpatient stay in 2018 Geodon 40 mg Seroquel 75 mg Lybalvi 5 mg as a PRN Gabapentin 1200 mg, Vitamin B-complex (against extrapyramidal side effects) Long term side effects from medications some of them discontinued: - hypothyroidism - obesity Suspected narcolepsy Treated with Ritalin 5mg |

I think you wrote that Nuvigil didn't work at all. I hope you find something quickly!

i have sleep apnea. the machine is bothersome but it does help in the long run.

So Ritalin is working for this. And very gently, with no side effects at the lowest dose. I tried two tablets (not at the same time) last week and got terribly dizzy. It felt as if something inside my head were spinning. I then look up dizziness and it is a common side effect of Ritalin. Luckily at the lowest dose I do not get dizzy.
