I had a dream last night that I was walking through a field and then it changed to me getting an MRI or ultrasound on my body. The doctor then says there's lots of emotions and build up in my pelvis it was quite strange and then she recommends me and gives me estradiol which I know is a contraception... I'm exclaiming in the dream how this would help me as I have insulin resistance I don't know how the medication would help with insulin resistance but nevermind. I go on to say I can't gain any weight because well I'm aware that contraception causes weight gain. What does this dream mean?

No idea what that means for you, but here is some possible symbolism others have come up with:

X-Ray (closest to MRI I could find; both being a means of looking inside the body to see beneath the surface. Same with an ultrasound)
An x-ray being made can represent: Needing or getting more insight into a certain aspect of your life Getting to know yourself better, such as your needs or what makes you happy The idea of being honest or revealing yourself to others, especially mentally or emotionally.

Birth Control
To see or use birth control in your dream, suggests that you are repressing your creativity, or holding back some aspect of yourself.
